One of the best ways to spend a relaxing day with friends or family is visiting some of our famous California wineries in the safety and comfort of one of our luxury limousines! We are privileged to have some of the lushest vineyards producing world-class wines, all within a couple of hours from Sacramento. While the Napa Valley is the most well-known and popular area for wine tours, we also like to let our guests know many other regions have grown and developed their following due to the varietals that flourish in soils inherent in their locales. Zinfandels and Barbera's in Amador County. Merlot and Petite Syrah in El Dorado County. Chardonnay and Cabernet in the Central Valley/Lodi Wine Appellation.
We have provided local Wine Regions below to help you in selecting your Wine Tour destinations for a meal, a day, a weekend, a honeymoon, or any of the many, many other reasons to celebrate and have fun. We will ensure you enjoy a fully hosted and pampered day with a customized tour developed with you. Because we have long-term relationships with many of the wineries, recommendations and discounts may be available. At About Time Limousines, we like to say, "We drive you to drink!"
Napa Valley is a world-famous wine destination offering hundreds of famous and boutique wineries, stunning landscapes, special events, world-class resorts, golf, and shopping. Chardonnay and Cabernet are the most prevalent varietals featured, but there is just no lousy wine coming out of this area. Pinot Noir, Merlo and Zinfandel all have award winning vintners.
Sonoma County holds not only 425 wineries, 500 plus restaurants, and breweries, but some of the most stunning coastline, towering redwoods, farmer markets, and cozy towns.
Alexander Valley is in Northeastern Sonoma County. But the beautiful mountainous terrain and rolling valley floor create a breathtaking scenic experience. 31 wineries, 82 winegrowers, Special Access Events and gourmet cuisine are all gracefully located along the meandering Russian River.
